– After four years in Washington D.C., U.S. Rep. Billy Long says he is “still fed up,” and has a new target for his criticism: political ads.
Long – a conservative who was sent to Washington on the slogan, “Fed Up!” during the Tea Party wave of 2010 – released a television commercial this week in which he slammed political television commercials.
“Are you fed up with all these political ads? Probably as fed up as you are with Obama’s agenda,” Long says to the camera.
Long, who faces marginal opposition next month running for reelection in one of the reddest districts in the state in Southwest Missouri, touts the fact that he “voted 56 times to repeal or defund Obamacare” and his support of the farm bill.
“I approve this message because I’m still fed up with Obama’s agenda, and all these ads,” he says.
Long’s ad is running across the district through Election Day.
