JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — Alex Eaton left his post with Sen. Mike Parson on Wednesday to begin work for Danny Pfeifer’s firm, The Catalyst Group.
Eaton will become the third member of the firm, joining Pfeifer and Greg Porter. A Warsaw, Mo., native, Eaton will focus on providing government relations advice to corporations and trade associations.
“The three of us first worked closely together on Senator Talent’s 2006 re-election campaign in 2006,” Pfeifer wrote in an email to clients. “Since then, Alex has developed quite the resume lobbying over five years for MOBio and most recently working in the office of Senator Mike Parson.”
“Alex is a great addition to the Catalyst team. His expertise in the Capitol will help ensure we continue to provide the best legislative services in Jefferson City,” Pfeifer concluded.
Eaton joined Parson’s office at the beginning of the legislative session last year. Prior to that, he worked as Director of Governmental Affairs and Member Relations at the Missouri Biotechnology Association. In 2012, he managed Republican Sen. Kurt Schaefer’s successful reelection campaign.
The Catalyst Group focuses on multi-state state legislative efforts, corporate strategy and grassroots campaigns, and has found a successful niche in Attorneys General outreach.
