– Gov. Jay Nixon and state legislative leaders are set to meet with Boeing officials on Wednesday – only an hour before Nixon is set to deliver remarks discussing the state’s effort to lure the company to produce its new 777X aircraft in St. Louis.
The meeting comes amid talk that Nixon, a Democrat, may be considering calling a special session of the General Assembly to pass incentives in an attempt to lure the company to locate its new production line for the 777X in St. Louis.
