– A handful of state lawmakers will take the national stage next week after being selected to speak at the Conservative Political Action Conference next weekend in St. Louis.
The Missouri lawmakers, chosen by the American Conservative Union in collaboration with the GOPAC Education Fund and the Republican State Leadership Committee, include Reps. Eric Burlison, Paul Curtman, and Casey Guernsey.
“We are excited to once again highlight young dynamic elected leaders in the CPAC program,” said ACU Chairman Al Cardenas. “Our focus at CPAC has always been to showcase rising stars in the conservative movement and we are pleased to carry on that tradition in St. Louis. We look forward to hearing their thoughts on our conference’s theme: ‘America’s Future, The Next Generation of Conservatives.’”
In addition to the legislative panel, the event will feature many members of the state’s congressional delegation, including U.S. Sen. Roy Blunt, as well as Reps. Ann Wagner, Blaine Luetkemeyer, and Jason Smith.
The event will be the second major Republican event to take place in Missouri this month. Over the weekend on the western side of the state, Republicans gathered in Kansas City for the Midwest Republican Leadership Conference.
