— Republican U.S. Senate candidate Sarah Steelman is slated to speak at a conference for Republican women next month in Washington, D.C.
Steelman, one of three Republicans hoping to take on Sen. Claire McCaskill next year, is listed as a featured speaker at the Women Working For Change conference, an annual event hosted b ProjectGoPink.
“I am honored to share the stage with other prominent conservative women,” said Steelman. “Governor Jan Brewer, Secretary Condoleezza Rice, Senator Kelly Ayotte and so many other women have stood up against the big boys all of their lives, and I look forward to kicking off my heels and putting on my gloves to make sure liberal Senator Claire McCaskill is sent home in 2012!”
Arizona Governor Jan Brewer, Sen. Kelly Ayotte, and RNC Co-Chair Sharon Day are among other speakers scheduled to speak on November 17.
The conference, scheduled for November 17-19, will also feature former Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice, and presidential candidate spouses Castilla Gingrich and Anita Perry.
