Slay and St. Louis County Executive Charlie Dooley — who said he had previously worked at Boeing’s St. Louis facility — traveled to Jefferson City on Tuesday to meet with lawmakers and urge them to back a plan to expand four existing tax credit programs by $150 million annually for aerospace projects. The tax credits would be part of a larger incentive package the state hopes to present to Boeing next week to lure the aircraft manufacturer to pick St. Louis for its new 777X production line.
